Plaid printable boxes
My original plan was to put some sort of appliqued shape on this design, but decided the simple plaid looks good by itself. I hope you enjoy these plaid printable boxes! Click on the images for a larger version to print. Print on card stock, cut out, score folds, fold and glue!

Shamrock Box
For me, the first sign winter is almost over is that February ends. The stores fill with green for Saint Patrick's Days and chocolate bunnies and eggs for Easter. I can look at the snow and think "Soon, this will be a garden and yard again!"
I hope you like this printable box. Click on the image for a larger version, print on card stock, cut out, score, fold and glue!
Today we made chocolates. It was a lot of fun and very very messy. We filled them with jam made by a friend of mine. If they turn out well I'll post instructions later.

Plaid fall leaves printable boxes
It's definitely fall. That termination dust I was talking about? It's nearly halfway down the mountains now, which means it's very close to the first snowfall. This weekend we are planning to put the last of our spring bulbs in.
So it seems like a good time for fall leaf printables. For these I used complementary color schemes and plaids. I hope you like them. Click for a larger size, print on card stock, cut out, score, fold, glue!
Bit of personal trivia- The first snowfall of the year, for a very long time, averaged out to be Mom's birthday. She always had nasty things to say when it actually happened on her birthday. The last 10 years, the first snowfall has been enough later to push that average up to a later date. But on October 8th, I still watch for that first snow.
She's been gone for a while now, but every year on her birthday, we re-create her last birthday celebration. Dinner then shopping at one of her favorite thrift stores. It's a lot of fun.

Button and Plaid 2x2x2 Printable Box
I hope you enjoy this printable button and plaid box! Click the image for a larger version, cut, score, fold, glue!
The plaid was inspired by having homemade slushies this afternoon. The slushies made me think of Heathers, and Heathers made me think of preppy 80s plaids.
We make cherry slushies using:
Blend blend blend! My kids like them better than the ones from the convenience store, they cost less, and are made with sugar instead of corn syrup, and have vitamin C in them.

It's really very cold here lately. About -7F or -22C. If it's cold where you are, stay warm. If you're in Australia or someplace summery, LUCKY! Err.. I mean, stay cool!

Madras pattern printable thank you card
Christmas is over, and it's time to say thank you. I hope you enjoy these thank you notes in a madras plaid. They are 5 inches tall and 3.5 inches wide, and the matching envelopes are 3.5 inches tall by 5 inches wide which is the minimum acceptable for the US postal service. The cards print 2 to one sheet of card stock, print the cards, cut them out, and score down the center line to fold the cards. Write your sentiment on the inside. The envelope works best printed on paper. Print, cut out, and fold the side flaps in, then fold the bottom flap up and glue it to the side flaps. Insert the card then fold and tape or glue the top flap. Click on the images for larger versions.
For this set, I made a pair of madras style matching tiles using colors that were inspired by Pantone's spring 2011 fashion color trend picks. Here are the tiles for your own use.
I hope your holidays were wonderful! And thank you all!
