Butterfly Rainbow Mandala to color

I want it to be spring already! I'm planning my garden, looking forward to seeing how my strawberries and raspberries come back and talking to my son about our plan for a dandelion recipes zine/ebook. (I'll make a limited number of physical booklets and also sell it as an e-book)

But it's still cold, and wintery and not anywhere near spring.

Butterfly Plaid and Gingham Circle Tags

I hope you enjoy these circle tags. Use a 2 inch circle punch or scissors to cut them out to use as cupcake toppers, labels or gift tags (writing on the back). Click on the image for a larger version. There are two box styles that match these tags.

Made With Love circle tags

These are circle tags that can be cut out using a 1 inch circle punch and either glued to an item or you can punch a hole, I suggest 1/8 or 1/16 inch, in the side or top to put a string through the tag to tie it to something. Click on the image for a larger version. There is some bleed area so you can center the design in your punch.

Happy to be Me- coloring page

The Muppets! Because of the new cover album with groups like OKGo and Alkaline Trio, I've been on a Muppet kick all day. There are even covers of two of Gonzo's songs on there. The Wishing Song from the tv show, and I'm Going to Go Back There Someday from the movie.
So that inspired this line from the Wishing Song as a printable coloring page. Just click on the image for a bigger version. The above will also click bigger, but not very big.

The Muppet Show was never really meant just for kids. Some of the humor is pretty racy by the standards back then, and children didn't care about the guest stars the same way adults and teens did. It's really aged well.

Some of the covers are hopping, happy dancing music and lots of fun, some are very thoughtful and sound very contemporary. My favorite Gonzo songs? I love them both.

I'm getting a new camera that SHOULD be delivered tomorrow, this weekend we are driving out of town in the opposite direction, and if I'm not absolutely knackered from Bear Paw Festival, we might go a little further out so I can get coffee and photos. The coffee from the Coffee Roastery, Ron does an amazing job with his coffees and they are my current favorite roasts. Hopefully at some point this summer I'll be able to go out and do some custom roasting with him.  I'm just not sure what to name it! Whatever it is, it will be a dark roast. Those dark, oily roasts are my favorite. Any suggestions for names?

Tessellations and Butterflies

I posted a tutorial for designing tessellating bead patterns on Beadwork at BellaOnline today.

Lady Helen posted a picture of how she decorated her bathroom using my butterfly outlines in black Contact paper. I love how striking it looks.

Butterfly Outlines

In 3 sizes, smaller, small and big. The two small ones are for making cards, embroidery, appliqué,  that sort of thing. The big ones are meant to be printed one half on regular sheet of paper, then you cut it out and use it for a template on 12x12 scrapbook paper to make butterfly decorations for a wall. You can either trace one side and then flip it over to trace the other side (no fold lines) or fold the paper in half and trace the outline on one half. The center body is the where the fold should be or where it should line up if you mirror it.
My example is origami paper and glitter on black cardstock. I just rushed it so the gluing isn't super neat, but hopefully you get lots of ideas to do much better things with it. I used Martha Stewart glitter which I love for the shades in comes in.
