A knot to print and color

This is another one of those projects that just didn't work out as envisioned- and I'm really happy about it. The initial thought was of the circular knot, but I realized that the version I drew originally wasn't really a knot, it was a series of twists with only 4 true knots in it. So added a bit more detail, then did the corners and center.

One of my readers told me that knots were her favorite, and I haven't been doing a lot of them lately. This is a fairly easy knot.

In other news- I'm in a serious case of *want* for Gipsy Dharma boots. Have you seen them? Since there is a new coloring book in the works, I was thinking of buying a pair when that's done. They are gorgeous, the boots of my dreams (as long as it's not winter). Plus bonus! It's ethical footwear. The leather is sourced carefully, and it's a small business/artisan making the boots. 

Heart Knot to color

I love drawing these knots. While working on this one, apparently I said out loud "Needs more entanglements" then wound up in a conversation with my husband about how I drew knots. His eyes got a little glazed, but this design maybe one he or William use in leather tooling at some point.

Peace and Love- Coloring Page

This peace and love coloring page has lots of wide open space to color in. You can see how I colored it digitally above. I like the way the hearts and peace symbols entwine!

Nested Braids embroidery pattern and coloring page

Nested braids coloring page and embroidery pattern- the outer 3 braids are 6 strand braids and the center is a 3 strand braid. Click the images for a larger version and print. If you embroider, both the embroidery version and the coloring page can be embroidered, but the embroidery version is simpler. The 4 braids can be used as frames or accents singly or all together as shown. Braids can also be considered knotwork and look very similar.

Simple Heart Knot Coloring Page

This one is a very simple heart knot to color. I really like the way it splits warm and cool colors in a rainbow palette! I hope you enjoy it just as much.

Peace Symbol Knot to Color

Yesterday I got a pleasant surprise when Hippie Peace Freaks on FB shared one of my images. Reading the comments just made me so very happy. Since I was tipped off when Celtic Trims reshared the image, it inspired me to draw a knotted peace sign.

I hope you all enjoy coloring it! Usual terms (or lack of them)- feel free to use the design for any craft purpose.

Snowflake Knot Coloring Page

Snowflake Box- Christmas in July

My original plan was plaid, but a red and green plaid. Then I got side tracked with the thought of drawing another knot. So here we go. I hope you enjoy this printable snowflake gift box!

New Fabrics for Sale

I got my first set of Spoonflower swatches! I'm currently in the process of stitching up some of the toys before photographing everything, but I did post some of the new designs for sale. You can find all my Spoonflower fabrics that are for sale here.

I did 7 different colors of the Chef Skull design, and they all turned out very well. Here's an example of the colors. There will be photos later so you can see how they turned out printed.

One of my favorite is one of my knots in rainbow colors. I got it printed on silk just to see how it would look, and plan to order enough yardage to make a shawl with.

Now, back to stitching!
