16 Ton Gift Box

Lately, my family has been watching a LOT of Monty Python's Flying Circus, which inspired this box.
Click on the image to get the larger version. This one does have a slot and a hole cut out. If you don't have a craft knife, using a small hole punch, then using small scissors to cut the slot and hole in the ring works. You'll cut/score/fold/glue the box as normal, then cut out the ring, and cut out the center of the rings, fold them in half and glue just the ring part. Fold the white tabs at a 90 degree angle, then slide the ring through the top of the box. Center it, and glue the tabs under the the lid.
