OH! It's been a while since I drew and posted a new coloring page. I'm learning how to use the graphic program on a different computer and this is the first one I've done on that computer.

2016 Valentine Mandala to color!

This took such a long time to draw, but it was so satisfying. I was thinking of those readers who really love the intricate mandalas to color the entire time, so this is my Valentine to all of you with the cramped hands and clipboards and super sharp pencils. I hope you like it!

Hidden Heart Mandala to color

This heart mandala was one of those that started out one way and ended up doing something different. I do like the final result though. The colored version above shows where the original heart is that I built the mandala around. If you color it differently the hearts aren't as obvious.

Heart Mandala for Summer 2015

Loving Day is coming up, so I have hearts on my mind again. Loving Day is the anniversary of the Loving vs. Virginia decision by the Supreme Court on June 12, 1967 which made interracial marriages legal across the US.

It's also my husband's birthday!

Heart Window mandala to color

So this was not originally going to be a heart design. I was starting a mandala inspired by the geometry of rose windows, and then noticed a heart shaped element appearing. So I emphasized that to create this heart rose window. I hope you enjoy coloring it!

Heart Mandala to color

Happy Loving Day! On June 12, 1967 in the Loving vs. Virginia case brought before the Supreme Court, Loving won. The decision made it clear that it's unconstitutional to deny people the right to marry based on race.

 "Under our Constitution, the freedom to marry, or not marry, a person of another race resides with the individual and cannot be infringed by the State".- Chief Justice Earl Warren
