2013 Printable Calendar

This year's printable year at a glance calendar is based on the design above which I created (without the Don't Eat the Paste url) for the annual tea towel calendar contest on Spoonflower (voting 10/18/12-10/24/12). The Spoonflower version will be available for sale soon for home sewers who like the design.

Shoplet- House of Doolittle Calendar and Planner review

My husband recently started a new job, so I was thrilled to get this 2013 desk calendar and planner from Shoplet to review. Shoplet carries all kinds of office supplies including desk calendars for 2013.

2 Color Monthly Desk Pad Calendar
I like desk calendars, there is something so grown up about them. This one is a very attractive pad that's easy to write on with a notes section and nice big squares to keep track of things in. It's a sharp, clean professional look. He works the hotel business, and the blue simulated leather looks nice. It's easy to write on and a great size at 18 1/2 x 13 inches. It's not refillable which is the only thing I don't like about it.

House of Doolittle Wirebound Weekly/ Monthly Planner

Why is there a heart drawn on the above photo? Because after I gave them to Michael for his desk at his new job, and before he took the photo, apparently the first thing he did was mark my birthday. Which I didn't know until I was cropping the photos for this entry. And I'm just all gooey and happy now.

Spiral bound planner that can lay flat easily with times and dates marked for 2013. The weeks spread over two pages, and have the previous month and next month on the last column. Again, it's easy to write in, non-refillable and has a nice simulated leather cover that looks good and wipes off easily. It doesn't close, but a large rubber band or a stitched piece of elastic will hold it closed if your going to carry it loose in a laptop bag or purse.

One of the things I like best about House of Doolittle products is that they are made using 100% post-consumer waste paper. So if going completely paper-less isn't an option, it's one of the better alternatives. They are also printed using soy inks, and made in the U.S.A.

Printable 2012 Year at a Glance Calendars

The backgrounds I used for these are from some designs I made up to get printed on Spoonflower. The idea being fabric that I could make purses out of that could be colored with permanent markers. I couldn't decide which layout I liked better, so you get them both. I think these would look so pretty colored in with markers. Click the images for larger versions.

ETA: The Spoonflower Coordinates contest, which I entered with the dots and stripes used in the background of these calendars is voting 1/5/12- 1/11/12. Please consider voting for my design!

I'm sorry that I have not made a year at a glance calendar template with the weeks beginning on Monday instead of Sunday. After trying a few ways to make calendars through different programs, the way that I like the look of them best is when I layout all the numbers in a graphics program, which takes a bit of time, which is why all my printable year at a glance calendars use the same font! If you want a Monday starting calendar, PrintFree.com has some here.

2012 Black and White Calendar

Jenn recently requested a calendar like this one that I made for 2010. She asked for one just like the original, but I really prefer to come up with new designs. I hope you like this one as well. It has the same design elements, dots in spiral patterns, but it's a different spiral dot design. The font used is Chocolate Box by Paul Lloyd. Click on the image for the 8x10 calendar. I found the 2010 year at a glance calendar very handy, and hope you enjoy this one as well.

Christmas Advent Calendar

Rachel at One Pretty Thing has been doing a bunch of Christmas themed round-ups, pulling together nifty projects she's posted for past Christmases as inspiration for getting started now. It did inspire to draw a Santa head and make an advent calendar.
The calendar works like those fliers you see posted on community bulletin boards. Print it out at 8x10 on a sheet of paper, trim the edges, cut up the lines. If you pre-fold each tab, they will be easier to pull off.
I also included a transparent PNG with the numbers and words that can be used for your own designs, so if you're an avid digital scrapper, you could make a personalized version using your digital scrap sets and photos from previous Christmases. Click on the images for larger versions.
The font used is Bolton by Paul Lloyd.

2011 Bright Calendar- year at a glance

I'm planning to do a few more calendars in the next couple of weeks, but here's the first one! Click on the image for the full sized version, and print at 300 ppi.

Please take a moment to vote on Spoonflower's Calendar Contest
This is my entry, I resized it to 25% of the original, the art I submitted to Spoonflower is a lot bigger. If you'd like, feel free to print this one on landscape settings. I really don't expect to even get in the top 10 this time. There are some amazing designs!!! Including a gorgeous quilt inspired design that I'd love to hang on my wall.

Printable 2010 Calendar and Template

This image is just a preview. The actual printable is high quality in PDF format. You can download that HERE. The first page of the pdf is the calendar as shown. The second page is a blank version you can mask off the calendar and use with rubber stamps to decorate or color it in by hand.
The font is Sylph by Paul Lloyd.

I also have a template available in PNG format, 150 ppi, 16x24 inches that can be used in a graphics program to design tea towel calendars that can be printed by Spoonflower. If you donate any amount over 1.00 to my site in the next couple of weeks, I'll happily send you the file. Donation button is in the sidebar.
