If you want a bit of a giggle, there's been a running conversation between my husband and I about if I should have a Super Soaker or not- and that conversation inspired me to make a wishlist at Amazon of things my husband doesn't want me to have-

Mandala box to print and color

Print, color and make this box- example colored with Derwent Inktense Pencils

I drew up this box so I could experiment with Dewent Inktense Pencils which I ordered recently.

I learned a couple things- they are much more intense than watercolor pencils and next time I'll use a lighter hand. That once you wet the ink, it won't move once it's dried. So make sure you get it as blended as you want it. I also learned that I love them, even if I'm not crazy about how I colored the box. I think I should have used yellow in the middle.

I have an Epson printer that uses Durabrite ink which is waterproof. Most inkjet ink will smear when it's wet. So if you plan to use a water color pencil or Inktense pencils- seal your ink, use a laser printer or use waterproof ink.

Here's an in progress picture-

So how are we doing? Still hurting. Christmas, William's birthday, Dad's birthday without Dad... it's hard. There is still so much to do at his apartment, and I was working on finishing up a coloring book. Staying busy. We laugh though, laugh at memories, laugh at life. We are treating each other gently, and saying "I love you" an awful lot.

Eagle gift box

Bald Eagle- photo taken in Anchorage, Alaska

So a couple of months ago, I wanted to go get photos of eagles. It took us a little while to find them, but the one I used for this printable box posed for me. I wound up using the photo on a blanket for my dad from one of those photo printing places. He's been enjoying it. I hope you like this printable box as well.

The photo was taken with my Fujifilm HS50EXR. I've had a few bridge cameras, and this is my favorite one. I'm going to be trying out a new one this week though so we will see if it stays my favorite! (affiliate link)

2012 Angel Boxes

When I posted this year's angel box, I said then that there would be more colors. While working on those, I wound up tweaking the layout a little, and re-did the brunette box to match the rest. I hope you enjoy these angel printable boxes for Christmas!

Donut Day!

Happy National Donut Day!!! Here are 4 boxes, I hope you enjoy them. 300 dpi, click on the images for the full sized version. Plain bakery boxes as well as polka dots because not everyone likes polka dots! Pink glaze or chocolate glaze. But no maple. Because maple donuts made with maple flavoring instead of real maple rank right up there with black jelly beans for things I'll never ever eat.

April Rain Mandala Boxes

As promised! Print on card stock. These are at 300 dpi, click on the images for the full sized versions.

This is the Turnip Girl, who is a little put out because I stopped her to take the photo while she was going to the comic book store. The shirt is part of her new favorite pajamas, which are available here, along with some other stuff with my mandala type designs on them. The jimjams (as my husband calls them) for women are going to be just a little long if you're a petite woman. But apparently they are super comfortable.

Shamrock Tea Box and coloring page

The tea box is in 300 ppi, and the coloring page is in 100 ppi. For the first time, I also put the art in my Etsy shop as a digital stamp at the original 8x8 300 ppi size. So if you love my coloring pages and want to use them for your own digital creations but at a higher quality than I post the coloring pages at, digital stamps are perfect. I chose the 1.60 price point which is the same price as most of my blank box templates.
As usual, the coloring page can be used for all sorts of crafty purposes.

The fills for the box were taken from close up shots of ice sculptures that I took last month. These are the images at 25%. I just thought they were so neat looking! I mirrored sections then recolored them for the box. Click on the images for a larger view.

Rainbow Birthday Set

Brand new template today! This one is for a card that can hold money, and a matching envelope. Instead of being long and narrow like most money cards are, this one folds like a billfold to make a smaller card.
Available with and without a Happy Birthday message, this set includes a 3x3x1 inch box, the card, and matching envelope. I'll also be posting the blank templates for sale in my Etsy shop.
Print them at 300 dpi. Click on the images for the full sized versions. The envelope matches both cards so I only made one envelope. Print the card and box on cardstock, and the envelope on paper.
